San Mateo County supervisors vote to approve placing amendment change on ballot
The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday voted unanimously to hold a Special Election Mar. 4 to allow voters to decide if the county charter should be changed to give supervisors the power to remove, for cause, a sitting sheriff. The act could be the next step in attempts at Sheriff Christian Corpus' ouster.
