The importance of African American Studies in schools

Bishop O'Dowd High School in Oakland was one of the first high schools in the U.S. to offer Advanced Placement African American studies to its students. Teacher Mr. Tony Green and his students achievements are being recognized by state and national leaders. Mr. Green, along with a few of his student joined us on the show to talk about the importance of African American Studies.
