Oakland woman discusses healing communities impacted by gun violence
When gun violence strikes, the pain is unbearable and the grief is unimaginable. But in Oakland, one woman has made it her life's mission to help families pick up the pieces. From organizing vigils, to connecting families with therapy-- Briana Manning, the community healing program coordinator with the Urban Peace Movement, joined us on 'The Nine' to discuss how she's on the front lines of healing trauma.
