Santa Rosa School Board votes to reintroduce police officers on campuses
The Santa Rosa City Schools Board of Trustees voted to bring back School Resource Officers (SROs) to campuses in response to escalating violence, including stabbings and drug overdoses. Despite mixed opinions from the community, the board approved a three-year pilot program, with the initiative set to begin in July 2025, pending final approval from the City Council.
