A's fans pack up for drive to West Sacramento for home opener against the Cubs
Bay Area Athletics fans who supported the team when it played at the Oakland Coliseum packed up their vehicles and drove roughly 70 miles east, to West Sacramento to see the Green & Gold play their 2025 home opener against the Chicago Cubs at Sutter Health Park, a minor league stadium. The A's will play three seasons in West Sacramento while its new ballpark in Las Vegas, NV, is under construction.
