SF Great Highway turned park gets new name, but the fight to bring back vehicle traffic not over
A controversial park that was once the Great Highway in San Francisco gets a new name. Last November, voters citywide passed Prop K to close the Great Highway to vehicle traffic in order to turn it into a park. But opponents are fighting to restore vehicle traffic and have taken action including filing a lawsuit.
