REAL ID enforcement starts May 7
The DMV and TSA are warning people that enforcement of REAL ID cards at airports and federal buildings is set to begin on May 7. People who do not have the REAL ID card, which requires verification of U.S. citizenship or legal residency, could be denied entry onto planes or some buildings. The CA DMV director Steve Gordon talked with KTVU about what people need to know, and why some people will still be able to fly without a REAL ID card.
