Child on bicycle hit by car and injured in Oakland

A child was transported to a hospital in Oakland after they were struck by a car while they were on their bicycle. The crash happened Monday afternoon on Coolidge and Nicol avenues. The child reportedly suffered severe head trauma. The child's exact condition is not yet known.
