Passengers lament last day for 'Bags Fly Free' on Southwest Airlines
Once known for not charging for checked luggage, Southwest Airlines announced it will start making its passengers pay $35 for the first checked piece of luggage and $45 for the second, beginning May 28. Executives say the move is necessary to regain profitability post-COVID.
