Coolest Bay Area Summer start since 1965 has beachgoers bundling up

It may be another July day on the calendar, but it certainly doesn?t feel like summer in much of the Bay Area. A persistent marine layer, cool ocean temperatures, and a persistent high-pressure ridge have left coastal communities shivering and wondering when summer will finally arrive.
