Neighbors in Oakland's Piedmont Avenue neighborhood are asking city leaders for help to stop sideshows after a massive gathering over the weekend. Hundreds of people gathered for a sideshow which included people shooting their guns into the air, lighting illegal fireworks, and setting a vehicle and other objects on fire. People are asking the city to install concrete barriers and speed bumps to prevent sideshows.
