Bay Area endurance athlete swims from Farallon Islands to San Francisco
Mill Valley native, Catherine Breed, became the 3rd woman to complete the 30.9 mile swim from the Farallon Islands to San Francisco. She hit an unofficial record, completing the swim in under 14 hours. Catherine is now working toward her next challenge of swimming the entire California coast. She sat down with KTVU to talk about the training and challenges she faced.
