Day two of the holiday hot spell

Day two of the holiday hot spell

The unseasonably hot weather continues today with afternoon highs 5-15 degrees above average. Highs will range from 70 degrees at the coast to 101 inland. A repeat expected for Labor Day Monday before a gradual cool down begins. If you're escaping to the coast for the weekend, be prepared for an increase in sneaker waves and rip currents through Monday night.
