UC Berkeley scientists in control of a NASA satellite

UC Berkeley scientists are now in control of a NASA satellite that's studying the Earth's atmosphere. One rocket launched three total satellites early Wednesday morning. One of the spacecrafts is called the Carruthers Geocorona Observatory, controlled by scientists in the Bay Area. It will take pictures of the Earth's exosphere, which is the outer most layer of the planet's atmosphere.
