Rent gap widens between San Francisco and Oakland, analysis finds

The rent gap across the Bay Area is widening fast. The San Francisco Chronicle analyzed data from Zillow and Apartment List, finding that San Francisco rents are now about 70% higher than Oakland, which is the biggest disparity in a decade.
