SF D.A. Gascon accepts responsibility for failures in Steinle case, calls Trump a 'madman'

San Francisco District Attorney George Gascon today defended the work of prosecutors following last week's acquittal of Jose Ines Garcia Zarate, the man charged with murder in the fatal shooting of Kate Steinle, and said the blame for any failure in the case should rest with him.
