BART board votes derails Livermore extension plan

BART's board of directors narrowly voted down a five-mile extension of their Dublin-Pleasanton line to Livermore on Thursday night. So many people showed up to the meeting, the overflow room was needed. Many say service to the Tri-Valley area is needed because the housing crisis is pushing people out to the Central Valley.
