U.S. Supreme Court clears way for trial in Andy Lopez shooting case

The U.S. Supreme Court today refused to review a lower court decision allowing a trial on allegations that a Sonoma County sheriff's deputy used excessive force when he fatally shot a 13-year-old boy carrying a toy rifle in 2013.
