Fire department claims Verizon throttled data during California wildfires

Santa Clara County Fire Department says Verizon hindered their efforts to battle the Mendocino Complex Fire and accuse the company of data throttling, reducing their internet speeds to one-two-hundredth of the normal speed after they went over their data limit. Now they have filed a claim as part of a legal challenge to the FCC repeal of Net Neutrality rules.
