First parent agrees to plead guilty in college admissions scandal, others proclaim innocence

A Bay Area-based packaged food entrepreneur became the first parent charged in the college admissions scandal to agree to plead guilty, according to a court filing Wednesday, while another couple declared their innocence, saying they had no idea their son's SAT test had been altered in any way.
