7th resident at Hayward nursing home dies of COVID-19; facility has history of violations

Another resident at a Hayward nursing home died of COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to seven on Thursday. Dozens of other workers and residents at the home have tested positive for the illness. State records show the facility has a history of violations as recent as June.
