Newsom: CA must protect essential workers; coronavirus disproportionately affects Latino community

Gov. Gavin Newsom is pleading to do more for essential workers during the pandemic, many of which are Latinos, who are disproportionately affected by the disease. Statistics show Latinos make up 39% of the state's population, but are 55% of confirmed COVID-19 cases.
