National Voter Registration Day takes on new urgency as country's deep divisions seem to grow

National Voter Registration Day took on more urgency this year in a highly-politicized and deeply-divided nation. Local groups, labor unions, politicians, and even celebrities are encouraging Americans to register to vote before the Nov. 3rd election.
