"Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" Event
This weekend, Saturday 10/17 and Sunday 10/18 are the American Cancer Society?s ?Making Strides? Drive-Through fundraisers in Alameda and Santa Clara. Normally, Making Strides involves thousands of participants walking a short course on the fundraising day, but because of COVID, the ACS is changing the event to a safe, contact-less, drive-through fundraiser. They encourage participants to decorate their car, get decked out in pink and participate in their drive through ?Making Strides? where they will get to see the ACS?s Warrior Wall, Chevy?s Hot Pink Cars, and get their picture taken under the iconic Making Strides arch.
