Assault on democracy: Pro-Trump rioters descend on Capitol

An assault on the nation's democracy took on its most physical manifestation to date Wednesday when a mob of pro-Trump supporters, emboldened by the president himself, descended on the Capitol as lawmakers counted Electoral College votes.
