Oakland’s ‘Queen of Q’, Dorothy King, owner of Everett and Jones BBQ offered hope for the homeless and job opportunities. Family and loved ones remember her for her philanthropic efforts as much as her beloved barbecue recipes. She died of breast cancer this week at 69.
