Vallejo vegetation fire damages 8 homes, sends one woman to hospital

Crews contained a Vallejo vegetation fire that severely damaged some homes and threatened up to 20 on Tuesday. One woman was hospitalized for smoke inhalation. The fire's cause is under investigation.
