SF Public Works employee one year from retirement refuses vaccine, risks termination

A 19-year San Francisco veteran public works department street sweeper is uncertain about the COVID-19 vaccine. He is defying the city's vaccine mandate deadline this week. He planned on retiring next year, but if he's out of compliance he could be terminated in November. Losing his retirement to stick to his principles is the risk he says he's willing to take.
