Gathering, a story of memory, resilience and community

Gathering by Yaa Samar! Dance Theatre is an immersive performance that tells the story of Israa, a young woman confronting fragmented memories after an attack on her village. Samar Haddad King, the artistic director gives insight. Performances run from February 27- March 1 at UC Berkeley's  Zellerbach Playhouse.
