Study: GLP-1 Use rising among children as young as 8
A new study from New York University found more than 20-thousand children between the ages of 8 and 11 have received prescriptions since 2019. It's found to be generally safe for short-term use, but the study's lead investigator said the long-term consequences of the medication on children are still unknown.
