Alex Pretti's sister issued statement Monday calling her brother a hero and said that hearing "disgusting lies" about her brother was "gut-wrenching" to her family. Citizens' cell phone videos show Pretti never brandished a gun, and was on the ground when Border Patrol Agents shot and killed him, contrary to claims by the Trump administration that he had been violent and aggressive toward border patrol officers.
