Cost of youth baseball continues to rise
For generations, all a child needed to play baseball was a glove, a bat and a local park. Today, that picture is very different, as playing America's favorite pastime is getting pricier than ever. What used to be a low-cost season at the neighborhood little league, has now turned into a multi-billion dollar travel ball industry, according to a new Wall Street Journal article. Katie Van Dyck, a senior legal fellow with the American Economic Liberties Project, joined us on 'The Nine' to discuss the growing costs that are pricing out many families.
