E-bike crashes among youth riders decline in Marin County
New data shows e-bike crashes involving young riders are declining in Marin County. The annual crash rate among youth riders dropped 28% since 2024, the Marin Independent Journal reports. It comes after new county rules that ban riders under the age of 16 from operating throttle-assisted e-bikes with a top speed of 20 miles per hour.
