DHS changing selection process for H-1B visas

This year, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is changing the selection process for who gets an H-1B visa, prioritizing higher-skilled and higher-paid applicants to "better protect American workers" and prevent abuse of the system. The changes also include a new $100,000 fee to sponsor a new employee, on top of existing processing fees.
