Midwest universities establish space in San Francisco

Eight universities from the Midwest are setting up a presence in San Francisco. Last week, Mayor Daniel Lurie announced the universities are creating what’s being called the “Third Coast Foundry,” which will provide a workspace for students and researchers studying artificial intelligence. The universities include the University of Chicago, Carnegie Mellon University and Purdue University.
