Santa Cruz wharf reopens after being damaged in 2024 storm

Nearly 16 months after being damaged in a storm, the century-old wharf was damaged by strong storm swells. A 150-foot section of the wharf was pulled apart and sank to the bottom of the bay. Now repaired, the city has announced a 'soft reopening' of 1,100 square feet of wharf.
