Warm, Cloudy, Muggy with Low Risk of Dry Thunderstorms and Elevated Fire Danger
Happy Sunday Everyone! Warmer, muggy weather is in store today as monsoonal moisture moves into the Bay Area through Monday. While the chance of thunderstorms remains low, any storms that do develop could produce dry lightning with little rainfall, increasing the risk of wildfire starts due to extremely dry vegetation. A Coastal Flood Advisory also remains in effect during periods of high tide through Thursday, with minor flooding possible in low-lying shoreline areas. The hottest weather is expected Tuesday and Wednesday before temperatures ease slightly later in the week.
