UCSF research shows how marijuana affects heart

For two weeks, researchers followed "more than 100 regular users of cannabis" and found they had "fewer premature heartbeats on days that they used marijuana... compared to the days they did not." Those premature heartbeats have been linked to a higher risk of developing an irregular heart rhythm. Researchers stress the findings are preliminary.
