New day, same weather story
The Bay Area stays hot and dry inland through Thursday, with temperatures 10 to 15° above normal inland and a compressed marine layer keeping the coast cooler with patchy dense fog at times. The pattern shifts Thursday dropping temperatures toward normal or slightly below by the weekend. We are also watching for the possibility of strong North winds developing Friday-Sunday that could heighten fire danger. Heat Advisory until Thursday 10p for Bay and inland communities. Coastal Flood Advisory until 1 PM Thursday for Bayside communities adjacent to San Pablo Bay.
