Wet weather in the weekend forecast

SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) --  Bay Area residents should pack their umbrella this weekend as a round of wet weather is expected in the area Saturday and Sunday.

KTVU meteorologist Rosemary Orozco said an approaching weather system will lift the area's chance for precipitation this weekend. 

"Saturday is going to be the wet day," she said.

Friday was expected to be cloudy with highs in the lower 60s. Southeast winds will reach 5 to 10 mph. Friday night will also bring clouds and a chance of rain. OLows will range from the upper 40s to the mid 50s. Southeast winds will reach 5 to 15 mph. Orozco said some parts of the Bay Area could see drizzle on Friday.
