1-alarm fire burns east Oakland bar, home
OAKLAND, Calif. (BCN) - Firefighters remain at the scene this afternoon of a one-alarm blaze that burned an East Oakland bar.
The fire was first reported around 1:30 p.m. at 9348 International Blvd., a fire dispatcher said.
The building is home to Talco's bar on the first floor and a residential unit on the second floor.
Firefighters were able to quickly bring the blaze under control by around 2:15 p.m., according to a fire dispatcher.
No injuries were reported, the dispatcher said. It was not immediately clear if any residents were displaced.
