BRENTWOOD, Calif. (BCN) -- An 11-year-old boy was airlifted to the hospital after he apparently fell from a swing and struck his head in Brentwood on Thursday night, East Contra Costa Fire Protection District officials said.
Fire crews responded shortly before 8 p.m. to a home in the 1300 block of Crescent Drive, fire officials said.
A parent told emergency medical crews that the boy fell from a swing. Crews arrived to find him with a cut on his head.
He was airlifted to the University of California at San Francisco Benioff Children's Hospital in Oakland, according to fire officials.
