12 dogs & 3 employees rescued from flooded kennel
RUSSELL TOWNSHIP, OH- Three employees and a dozen dogs were rescued from a flooded Ohio kennel on Tuesday following heavy rain.
The Russell Township Fire Department and Hillcrest Technical Rescue Team teamed up to save employees and dogs at the Copaw Cabana Kennel in Novelty.
They transported the people and their four-legged friends by boat to dry land. Nobody was injured in the rescue.
The area was hit with 2-3 inches of rain in just 45 minutes Tuesday.
