1st ever vodka made from San Francisco fog

ALAMEDA, Calif. (KTVU) - An Alameda-based vodka company has created vodka cut and blended with San Francisco fog. 

The vodka is being called Hangar 1 Fog Point. 

The company worked with the non-profit FogQuest to install fog collectors around the Bay Area. 

According to Hangar 1, vodka is made of 60 percent water. In the face of the drought the company wanted to come up with a sustainable way to make the alcohol. 

The limited edition bottles are being sold in several cities for $125. 

According to Hangar 1, the proceeds will be donated back to FogQuest for research into sustainable water sources in California.
