Attorneys for two men charged in the deadly Ghost Ship warehouse fire are expected to ask a judge to lower their bail so they can get out of jail while awaiting trial.

Derick Almena and Max Harris appeared in court on Friday but did not enter pleas to 36 counts of involuntary manslaughter in connection with the Ghost Ship fire.

Prosecutors claim the two men created a fire hazard that led to the deaths of 36 people who were attending a dance party at the warehouse last December.

Defense attorneys say Almena and Harris cannot afford their one million dollar bail.
