2 dead after crash on I-680 in Pleasant Hill

PLEASANT HILL, Calif. (KTVU/BCN) - Two people were killed and one person was injured in a rollover crash Sunday night in Pleasant Hill.

Police responded at about 8:05 p.m. to the crash on interstate 680 near the Contra Costa Boulevard off-ramp.

The 69-year-old driver and a 68-year-old passenger both died at the hospital.

A 78-year-old woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The crash shut down parts of the freeway for several hours.
