2 dead in crash in unincorporated Castro Valley
CASTRO VALLEY, Calif. (BCN) - Two people were killed in a collision tonight in the Castro Valley area of unincorporated Contra Costa County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported around 8:45 p.m. in the vicinity of Crow Canyon Road at Norris Canyon Road.
The crash has blocked to roadway and at this time there is no estimate for when lanes will reopen, according to the CHP.
Drivers are being advised to take alternate routes. Northbound drivers are being diverted at Cold Water Drive, and southbound drivers are being diverted at Bollinger Canyon Road, CHP officers said.
