2 hospitalized after police chase in Redwood City ends with crash

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (KTVU) - A police pursuit and subsequent crash Tuesday afternoon in Redwood City sent two people to the hospital. 

According to CHP Redwood City, officers tried to stop a Toyota Camry for speeding and unsafe lane changes on northbound Interstate 101 at Willow. 

The driver of the Camry exited the interstate at Woodside and a chase ensued. 

The vehicle was going eastbound on Seaport Blvd. when it went over a median and collided head-on with a Prius. 

The suspect sustained major injuries and a victim suffered minor injuries. 

Both were transported to a local hospital.

The suspect will face felony charges, CHP says.
