2 injured in El Sobrante shooting, suspect being questioned
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, Calif. (KTVU) - A 32-year-old man has been identified as the suspect arrested in connection with the shooting of two people Monday afternoon in El Sobrante, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff's office.
Sheriff's officials said Jason Ellis, of El Sobrante, was arrested in connection with the shooting that occurred just before 1 p.m. in the 600 block of El Centro Road.
According to the sheriff's office, deputies found two men, ages 37 and 19, suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were transported to hospitals and are in stable condition today.
Ellis has been booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on suspicion of two counts of assault with a firearm and is being held on $100,000 bond.
