2 seriously injured in Redwood City crash
Police are investigating a solo vehicle crash that occurred early Sunday morning in Redwood City.
According to police, officers responded around 2 a.m. to reports of a vehicle that had struck a tree at westbound Woodside Road at Spring Street.
Police said officers arrived and found the vehicles two occupants, a male and female, suffering from major injuries.
The victims were transported to a local hospital, however their condition is unknown at this time.
Information on whether or not drugs or alcohol played a role in this incident has not yet been released.
Police said Woodside Road will be closed from Bay Road to Middlefield Road as officers investigate the incident.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
